Mr Kunmi Fasanmade is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the John Radcliffe Hospital and the Churchill Hospital of the above institution as well as a Consultant appointment at Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trusts, Stoke Mandeville and Amersham Hospitals. His practice is centred around his special interest areas of Head and Neck Oncology, Salivary Gland Surgery, and Facial Trauma. He has vast experience in 3-D planning as part of facial reconstruction secondary to tissue loss following facial trauma and Head & Neck ablative surgery.
Mr Fasanmade qualified as a doctor in 2002 at Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ Hospitals. He undertook his five year specialist surgical training on the South West deanery based at University of Bristol Hospitals Trust, Frenchay Hospital Bristol and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and was appointed to his current designation in August 2010.
Kunmi Fasanmade is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and fully registered with the General Dental Council. He is also a Fellow of the European Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery; a member of the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists (BAHNO) and Member of the British Medical Association.
Kunmi has published papers on a wide range of topics and has presented at scientific and clinical meetings, nationally and internationally.
