Mr Michael Lamyman is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon based at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He has a specialist interest in hand surgery and limb reconstruction, undertaking regular orthoplastic cases within the hand, major trauma and bone infection services.
Mr Lamyman studied at Cambridge University and Imperial College School of Medicine, qualifying in 2001. His plastic surgery training took place in Bristol, Oxford, Stoke Mandeville and Salisbury. He completed the TIG Hand Surgery fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, gaining advanced training in hand and wrist surgery.
Michael completed the Bristol Microsurgery fellowship, gaining experience in planning and execution of a broad range of microsurgical cases. He was awarded the UK Hand Diploma in 2014.
Mr Lamyman has written chapters for the new edition of the Oxford Specialist Handbook of Hand Surgery and published in the field of hand surgery and lower limb reconstruction.
