Mr Paul Critchley qualified in 1990 from Nottingham University in the UK. His postgraduate training was in Bristol and Oxford. He has worked as a Consultant in Oxford since 2003. He is employed by the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and works at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital sites.
His areas of specialist interest include adult and paediatric hand surgery. He is an integral part of the Oxford Sarcoma Service running a weekly clinic and theatre list. Some of this activity involves working closely with orthopaedic colleagues to optimise cross-discipline outcomes.
He has been Clinical Lead in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery and has recently completed his tenure as Training Programme Director for the Thames Valley Higher Surgical Training Programme in Plastic Surgery.
