Mr Roman Mykula graduated with overall honours in Medicine and Surgery from Sheffield University Medical school. He then completed a basic surgical training program in Cambridge University Hospitals before specialising in Plastic Surgery in Oxford University Hospitals.
My Mykula won a nationally appointed competitive placement as Royal College of Surgery Head & Neck Surgical Oncology Training Interface Group (TIG) fellow. Following a further fellowship in Skin Oncology, he undertook and an international fellowship in Head & Neck surgery and microsurgery in the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Australia. He then practiced as a Consultant in Australia before being appointed to the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specializing in Head & Neck, Skin Oncology, and Perineal reconstruction. He has published research articles and presented internationally in related fields including complex Head & Neck reconstruction, Microsurgery, and Skin Oncology.
Prior to Medicine, Mr Mykula completed Fordham Preparatory High School with overall distinction and contributions to the community honours, and a liberal Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College, a New York University in the United States.
