Professor Giovanni Botti is the founder of Villa Bella in Italy.
Professor Botti has lectured in numerous courses in Plastic and Aesthetic surgery organised both by universities and scientific societies in more than 30 different countries and has performed demonstrative surgical operations in many hospitals around the world. He has taught in various Italian universities (Pavia, Milan, Genoa, Rome, Siena, Verona, Catania, Padua, etc.) and abroad (Nice, Paris, Monaco, Brussels, Vienna, Tokyo, Melbourne, Lausanne, etc.).
For more than 20 years he has been organising Plastic Surgery courses, often with dissection of cadavers, including those of Villa Bella, which are considered among the best in Europe. He is the author of four entire monographs, chapters of eight other Plastic Surgery texts, numerous scientific films, as well as 72 articles published in the most famous trade magazines.
Professor Botti has received awards for his contribution to the development of cosmetic surgery by various Plastic Surgery societies, including the American, German, Japanese, Egyptian, Romanian, French and Iranian organisations.
He is an honorary member of many Plastic Surgery Societies in various countries and is the founder and first President of the Italian Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery (AICPE), of which he is still Honorary President.
He is National Secretary for Italy and “Visiting Professor” of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery (ISAPS).
